In 1891 a collaboration between Canadians Daniel Massey and Alanson Harris formed Massey-Harris to produce agricultural
implements.
Moving into powered harvesting in the early 20th century, they joined forces with Englishman and successful tractor
manufacturer Harry Ferguson to become Massey-Ferguson in 1953.
Today they are the worlds largest tractor manufacturer, and part of the AGCO Corporation that incorporates other
agricultural marques such as Fendt.
